- Announced at the BGMI International Cup 2025 in New Delhi, CEO Sean Hyunil Sohn outlined a structured 2026 pathway for Indian players.
- The 2026 lineup features BGIS (Jan–Mar), BMPS (May–Jun) to select India’s Esports World Cup representative, BMSD (Aug–Oct) and BMIC (Oct) on a city-based circuit, alongside four open-for-all events in April, June, July and August.
- Krafton introduced the KRAFTON India Awards, with the first edition set for January 9, 2026 in Mumbai to recognize players, teams and creators.
- BGIS 2026 registrations will open in late December 2025 on the Krafton India Esports website, with competition running from January to March as the entry point to higher tiers.
- BMIC 2025 concluded with Korea’s TEAM DRX as champions and India’s TRUE RIPPERS as runners-up, with the winners earning Rs 30 lakh and a direct spot at the Global Championship 2025.
