Krafton India Rolls Out Limited BGMI Anniversary Code Drops as WOW Mode Surges

Krafton is using time-limited code drops together with creator-driven World of Wonder maps to lift short-term player activity and discoverability.

Overview

  • Krafton issued consecutive 50-code drops for BGMI’s 5th Anniversary Edition 4.5, starting Tuesday with the White Rabbit Backpack and continuing Wednesday with the Ducky Fighter Set, with all codes valid through September 25.
  • Each code is redeemable only at the official BGMI Redeem Centre, requires a Character ID and captcha, and delivers rewards via in-game mail that must be claimed within 30 days.
  • Redemption is limited by clear rules: each code can be claimed by up to 10 players on a first-come, first-served basis, each account can use a code only once, and each player may redeem only one code per day; guest accounts are not eligible.
  • Krafton also published updated WOW mode figures showing more than 50,000 creator-made maps, roughly 23 million players who have tried WOW, nearly 1 million daily users, and influencer-made maps accounting for over 22% of WOW playtime.
  • The twin push of scarce cosmetic drops and expanded creator content signals a deliberate engagement strategy that can boost short-term retention, raise influencer visibility, and drive more players to discover user-made maps in WOW.
