Overview

  • Kraft Heinz Foods Company initiated the recall for fully cooked Oscar Mayer turkey bacon produced between April 24 and June 11 after internal testing indicated possible Listeria monocytogenes.
  • The recall includes 12-, 36- and 48-ounce Original turkey bacon packages bearing specific UPC codes and use-by dates from July 18 to September 4.
  • Recalled products were shipped to retail outlets across the United States as well as to the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong, according to USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
  • No illnesses have been confirmed to date despite Listeria’s heightened risk to older adults, pregnant women and those with weakened immune systems.
