- Chief Minister Sohail Afridi inaugurated the Koto facility in Lower Dir on Saturday.
- The project cost Rs21.7 billion and is projected to produce 207 million units of electricity annually, generating about Rs2.4 billion in revenue.
- Afridi said KP is installing its first dedicated transmission line, reported at roughly 120 kilometres, to carry power from 11 hydropower plants directly to industry.
- He also opened the 18.5-kilometre Tormang–Razgram road, completed for Rs1.5 billion to improve regional connectivity.
