Overview

• The Flood Forecasting Division reports the Indus at Kotri Barrage at a medium flood level with inflow near 328,142 cusecs and outflow around 337,197 cusecs.
• Water levels at Guddu and Sukkur continue to decline to low flood, with Guddu at 273,651 cusecs inflow and 244,887 cusecs outflow and Sukkur at 351,953 cusecs inflow and 296,933 cusecs outflow.
• The Pakistan Meteorological Department expects Kotri to remain at a medium flood level through the end of September.
• A breach in the Loop Bund pushed floodwater into Bakhri town and submerged more than 130 villages in Jamshoro, damaging crops and severing road links.
• Relief and rehabilitation efforts are underway, with NDMA delivering 1,000 tents to PDMA Punjab and a cumulative 36,000 tents and 2,270 tons of supplies, alongside emergency road and bridge repairs in affected districts.
