  • The August 3 draw in Osaka set first- through third-round pairings for the 107th National High School Baseball Championship at Hanshin Koshien Stadium.
  • Yokohama (Kanagawa) meets Tsuruga Kehi (Fukui) on day three, Kyoto Kokusai (Kyoto) faces Kendai Takasaki (Gunma) on day eight, and Chiben Wakayama (Wakayama) opens against Hanamaki Higashi (Iwate) on day four.
  • For the first time, the opening ceremony is scheduled for 4 pm on August 5, with only the opening game between Sōseikan (Nagasaki) and Komatsu Ōtani (Ishikawa) to follow.
  • A morning-evening two-part system will be applied over the first four game days to avoid the midday heat.
  • Forty-nine teams, including five first-time entrants, will compete under the Japan High School Baseball Federation’s new logistical framework.
