KoRo Recalls Two Vegan Pestos Over Glass Contamination Risk

Affected products are being removed from shelves to safeguard consumers from possible glass shards

Overview

  • KoRo announced the recall on July 11 after detecting suspected glass fragments in two of its vegan pesto varieties.
  • The warning covers Veganes Pesto Verde (best-before January 22 and February 13, 2027; EAN 4260335836804) and Veganes Pesto Rosso (best-before January 22, 2027; EAN 4260335839560).
  • Impacted batches were sold between March 17 and July 2, 2025 through KoRo’s online shop across Europe and at retail outlets in Germany and Austria.
  • Customers can return the recalled pesto without a receipt and will receive a full refund for each jar.
  • Online purchasers have been directly notified and customer service is available at [email protected] for questions and support.
