• He died at 5:30 a.m. on October 13, 2025, while under treatment at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad.
• Reddy founded News & Services Syndicate in 1980, which became a training ground and employer for hundreds of young journalists serving small and medium newspapers.
• He served as Chevella MLA and held Congress roles including APCC spokesperson and grievance cell chair.
• His public service also included chairing the Andhra Pradesh Sports Council and leading the Hyderabad Press Club and Journalists’ Cooperative Housing Association, with a role in the United Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists’ Union.
