Konami Sets Oct. 29–30 Launch for Metal Gear Solid Delta’s Fox Hunt Multiplayer

Konami details a stealth-focused 12-player mode built on camouflage with new detection abilities.

Overview

  • Fox Hunt goes live on October 29 in the Americas and October 30 elsewhere, with regional times published to account for daylight saving changes.
  • The update is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though Konami says cross-play will not be supported.
  • Konami is releasing Fox Hunt as a free post-launch update, and GameSpot reports the mode includes no microtransactions.
  • The mode is a competitive hide-and-seek experience for up to 12 players in teams of two that leans on Metal Gear’s stealth and camouflage systems.
  • Matches feature AT-Camo for instant pattern switching and a Naked Sense scan mechanic, plus two multi-phase rules: Survival Capture (collect dwindling Kerotan) and Survival Intrude (hold shrinking zones).
