Kolkata Woman Murdered and Dismembered by Brother-in-Law After Rejected Advances

The accused, Atiur Rahman Laskar, a construction worker, was arrested within 24 hours in his native village in South 24 Parganas after confessing to the crime.
Police revealed that Laskar killed Bibi, aged 35-40, after she rejected his advances, began avoiding him, and blocked his phone number.
Laskar reportedly forced the victim to an under-construction building, where he strangled her, dismembered the body, and disposed of the parts in separate locations.
