Overview
- Akash Das and Rahul Saha of Kidderpore Sporting Club were arrested and remanded to 14 days’ police custody after being produced in court.
- The case was registered at Bowbazar Police Station on November 2 based on a complaint by SI Sandip Dutta of the Anti-Rowdy Section.
- Offences cited include Sections 61(2), 318(4) and 319(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 66 read with Section 43 of the Information Technology Act.
