Overview

• From August 10, heavy and medium goods vehicles are banned from 6 AM to 11 PM on Vidyasagar Setu, its ramps, Circular Garden Reach Road, Garden Reach Road and all connecting feeder routes.
• Goods vehicles bound for National Highway 12 may only use Tala Bridge, BT Road and Nivedita Setu between 10 PM and 6 AM each day as designated night corridors.
• Vehicles using Andul Road from Kolkata must not exceed 4.5 meters in height to clear the Mourigram rail-over-bridge.
• Essential service carriers transporting fuel, oxygen, food and medical supplies are exempt from these restrictions and may operate without time limits.
• All goods vehicles must display their destination points on windscreens for police identification and guidance as curbs remain in force until further notice.
