Overview

• The facility was inaugurated on July 17, 2025, when passengers led the opening event attended by AAI Airport Director Dr. P. R. Beuria.
• Located by Arrival Baggage Belt No. 1 in the NSCBI Airport arrival zone, the kiosk serves domestic passengers making connecting flights.
• The system uses facial recognition technology to reduce transfer processing times and strengthen security through contactless, paperless screening.
• It joins the existing DigiYatra installation in the domestic departure area to streamline passenger movement across the airport.
• DigiYatra first launched in December 2022 at Delhi, Bengaluru, and Varanasi and has since expanded to cover India’s major airports, including Kolkata.
