Overview

• After one night in Idaho Maximum Security Institution’s J-Block, he requested a move to B-Block, alleging “minute-by-minute” threats and disruptions such as cell flooding in a July 30 note.
• In an Aug. 4 filing, he reported crude sexual threats, including “I’ll b— f— you” and “The only a— we’ll be eating is Kohberger’s,” and asked to meet the deputy warden.
• An IDOC incident report says a guard heard vulgar language directed at him but could not identify an aggressor; the report records that he felt safe to remain on tier 2 and no transfer followed.
• IDOC describes J-Block as a generally quiet high-security unit with single cells and restricted privileges, and it advised him to “give it some time.”
• Separately, about 550 pages of newly released police files show WSU faculty and students had flagged him for sexist, intrusive conduct, including a professor’s warning he could become a predator, while he now serves four consecutive life terms.
