Drawing on Ludwig II’s diaries to guide themed routes alongside digital exhibitions, the initiative deepens Bavarian heritage through sustainable tourism.

Overview

  • A permanent winter exhibition at the Tourist-Info gallery in Kochel station is in preparation to display artifacts and contextual materials from the project.
  • Project lead Daniel Weickel is developing plans for a Bavaria-wide network of Wittelsbach heritage sites and exploring an information center in Kochel.
