Overview

  • Giuffre finished a 400-page manuscript co-authored with journalist Amy Wallace before her death in April at age 41.
  • An April 1 email sent after a March 24 accident asked that the book be published regardless of her circumstances, stressing the need to expose systemic trafficking failures.
  • The publisher says the memoir contains intimate new material on Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and other associates, with Giuffre addressing Prince Andrew publicly for the first time since their 2022 settlement; Andrew has denied her allegations.
  • Knopf describes the book as vigorously fact-checked and legally vetted.
  • Knopf confirmed the project moved from an initial seven-figure deal at Penguin Press with editor Emily Cunningham, and said Giuffre makes no allegations of abuse against President Donald Trump.
