Robinson's Gesture of Support Follows Death of Coach's Wife

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson has invited his former high school basketball coach, Butch Stockton, to live with him in New York following the death of Stockton's wife.
Robinson and Stockton have maintained a close relationship since their time at Chalmette High School in Louisiana, where Stockton coached Robinson.
Robinson's gesture came after Stockton's wife, Dawn, passed away in September following a battle with metastatic cancer.
Stockton has been living with Robinson since September and plans to stay with him through the end of the year.
Robinson, who is having a strong season with the Knicks, said he was more than happy to help Stockton in his time of need, as Stockton had helped him during his high school years.
