Knicks GM Scott Perry Out After 6 Seasons

The New York Knicks and general manager Scott Perry will part ways after Perry's contract expires this summer.
Perry was hired in 2017 and helped draft key players like RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson, leading the Knicks to two playoff appearances in three years.
The Knicks had their best record since 2012-13 this season but were eliminated in the second round by the Miami Heat.
Perry's role diminished after Leon Rose became team president, replacing Steve Mills who hired Perry.
The Knicks will look to continue improving without Perry as GM, possibly promoting someone from within or hiring a new executive like Gersson Rosas.
