The trio says the Sept. 26 London hearing on Mo Chara’s alleged Hezbollah flag offence falls too close to the tour’s October kickoff.

Overview

  • All 15 U.S. dates in October are canceled with refunds offered, while four sold-out shows in Vancouver and Toronto will proceed.
  • Member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh (Mo Chara) was charged in May over an alleged Hezbollah flag display at a November 2024 London concert, which he and the band deny.
  • A Westminster Magistrates’ Court session on Sept. 26 is set to decide whether the case can proceed after defense arguments about timing and jurisdiction.
  • The move follows a weekend set at Rock en Seine near Paris, where protesters were escorted out and local and regional subsidies were pulled over the festival’s decision to keep the band on the bill.
  • Kneecap calls the case a “witch-hunt” and says it will share “something very special” for U.S. fans next week.
