Rock Band KISS Unveils 'Fantasy-Based Superhero' Avatars for Future Performances

KISS, the iconic American rock band, performed their final live show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, marking the end of their 'End of the Road' farewell tour.
During the encore of their final show, the band introduced their digital avatars, created by George Lucas' special-effects company, Industrial Light & Magic, in partnership with Pophouse Entertainment Group.
The avatars, which are designed to look like 'fantasy-based superheroes', will continue to perform in the band's place, allowing KISS to continue their legacy 'for eternity'.
The technology used to create the avatars involves the band members performing in motion capture suits, with the data captured used to create the digital versions of the band.
While the band has not yet revealed specific plans for the avatars, possibilities include future concerts, a rock opera, a musical, or a story adventure.
