Kinzinger Criticizes Trump and His Christian Supporters

The former GOP representative accuses Trump of pretending to be Christian in response to a controversial Christmas message.

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger criticizes former President Donald Trump, accusing him of pretending to be Christian and stating that Christian supporters of Trump misunderstand their faith.
Kinzinger's comments were in response to Trump's Christmas message in which he wished for President Joe Biden, special counsel Jack Smith, and others not aligned with him politically to 'ROT IN HELL'.
Kinzinger has been a prominent Republican critic of Trump and was one of only two Republicans in the House of Representatives to serve on the January 6 Committee that investigated the Capitol riot.
Trump's Christmas message also criticized world leaders and American lawmakers, accusing them of looking to destroy the USA.
Despite the criticism, Trump remains the GOP’s favorite to win the nomination for the upcoming election, leading Biden by 2 percent based on more than 500 polls.
