Kings Place Pheonix Copley on Waivers Again

Following a Tampa Bay claim earlier this month, Los Angeles seeks AHL flexibility by waiving the veteran again.

Pheonix Copley was placed on waivers on Oct. 22, a week after the Kings reacquired him from the Lightning for future considerations.
The veteran goaltender was claimed by Tampa Bay after an earlier waiver attempt and was traded back without appearing in a game.
Copley has yet to play this season; if he clears, he is expected to be reassigned to AHL Ontario, where he posted a 24-17-1 record, 2.49 GAA and .904 SV% last year.
Los Angeles turned to Anton Forsberg during a brief Darcy Kuemper injury, leaving Copley unused since his return.
Also waived Wednesday were Utah Mammoth forward Andrew Agozzino and Islanders forward Marc Gatcomb, per multiple reports.
