King Charles III's Official Birthday Parade Marred By Fainting Soldiers In Sweltering Heat

Several soldiers rehearsing for King Charles III's Trooping the Colour fainted due to extremely hot weather conditions in London.
More than 1,400 soldiers participated in the rehearsal for the annual parade held in honor of the British monarch's birthday.
Prince William thanked the soldiers for their participation despite the difficulties presented by the high temperatures.
The Trooping the Colour parade has been a tradition for over 260 years and will feature 400 musicians and 200 horses in addition to the soldiers.
King Charles III will ride horseback during the parade, marking the first time a reigning monarch has done so since Queen Elizabeth II in 1986.
