King Charles III Addresses Senedd in Welsh for 25th Anniversary

The King and Queen Camilla celebrated the milestone of Welsh devolution with speeches, performances, and meetings with Welsh leaders and schoolchildren.

King Charles III gave his first address in Welsh as Monarch at the Senedd.
The visit included performances by a local primary school choir and the King's new harpist.
The Royal couple met with First Minister Vaughan Gething and other parliamentary leaders.
A new law will expand the Senedd to 96 members by 2026.
The event featured a guard of honour by the Royal Welsh and enthusiastic public participation.
