• Jimmy Kimmel posted a photo of Guillermo Rodriguez on an escalator with the caption, “Headed to Brooklyn! Escalator is working great!” in a dig at the president.
• During the Sept. 23 visit to the United Nations, the escalator carrying the president and Melania Trump stopped, and he later called it “a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter.”
• On his return show, Kimmel read a Truth Social message in which the president said he couldn’t believe ABC gave Kimmel his job back, then quipped that he couldn’t believe the president got his job back.
