Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, labeled the allegations as false and announced plans to pursue the strongest possible legal action against the channel.
Hoverlab's claims include alleged verification of the relationship with Kim Sae Ron's family, though these assertions remain unsubstantiated.
The YouTube channel previously accused K-pop group BTS of connections to a drug case, which was also denied by BTS' agency, HYBE, with threats of legal action.
Kim Sae Ron, a former child actress, passed away in February 2025, with her death ruled a suicide; her family has previously criticized online harassment as contributing to her struggles.
