Overview

• Kieskompas is available nationwide from today, four weeks before the 29 October Tweede Kamer elections.
• Each provincial version features 30 statements, typically 27 national issues plus 3 tailored to local priorities.
• Kieskompas was developed with regional public broadcasters and refined using input from journalists, scientists and a panel of about 20,000 participants.
• Political parties answered the statements to anchor their positions, and users respond on a five‑point scale to see their place on left–right and progressive–conservative axes.
• The tool is presented as an aid to orientation rather than a voting recommendation, with regional examples including the Lelylijn, Lelystad Airport and defense expansion in Flevoland.
