Overview

  • Kia will unveil the Carens Clavis EV on July 15 as India’s first mass-market seven-seat electric MPV.
  • The model is expected to start at around Rs 17–18 lakh (ex-showroom) to appeal to large families seeking electric mobility.
  • Built on the Hyundai Creta Electric platform, it will offer two battery options of 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh for estimated ranges of 390 km and 473 km.
  • The cabin integrates a 26.62-inch dual panoramic display and premium comforts such as ventilated front seats, wireless charging and an eight-speaker Bose system.
  • It will feature Level 2 ADAS including adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking alongside six airbags and Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle charging support.
