Kia Starts Production of New Seltos in India Ahead of Jan. 2 Price Reveal

Bookings are open for a larger K3-based Seltos with a tech-rich, safety-focused package ahead of early 2026 deliveries.

  • Series production has begun at Kia’s Anantapur plant, with the first unit rolled out in the presence of MD and CEO Gwanggu Lee.
  • Prices will be announced on January 2, 2026, bookings are open for a Rs 25,000 token, and deliveries are expected to follow shortly after.
  • The second-generation SUV grows to 4,460 mm in length and 1,830 mm in width with a 2,690 mm wheelbase, shifting to the K3 platform for higher rigidity, improved NVH and revised suspension tuning.
  • Kia retains the 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with transmission choices including 6MT, 6iMT, iVT/CVT, 7DCT and 6AT.
  • Cabin tech centers on a 30-inch Trinity display with Bose 8-speaker audio, Kia Connect 2.0, OTA updates and wireless smartphone connectivity, backed by a 24-item standard safety pack and Level 2 ADAS.
