Overview
- Kia has opened orders for the EV3 GT and says first customer deliveries will begin in early August 2026.
- The EV3 GT uses two electric motors for an all-wheel-drive system that produces 215 kW (292 PS) and 468 Nm, enabling a 0–100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds.
- GT-specific hardware includes electronic damper control, a Road Preview System, and variable torque distribution along with a selectable GT mode that sharpens throttle, steering, suspension and cockpit displays.
- Software features add emotion to the drive through Virtual-Gear-Shift, which simulates gear changes, and Active Sound Design, which creates synthetic engine sound, and both can be switched off.
- Kia fits the EV3 GT with an 81.4 kWh battery claiming up to 501 km range and about 31 minutes for a 10–80% DC fast charge, while standard kit is generous and the starting price of €53,990 positions the compact GT near Kia’s larger GT models.
