Overview
- The GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants were introduced on Wednesday and bring a 28-feature Level 2+ ADAS suite that extends collision-avoidance to junctions and lane-change scenarios.
- New ADAS functions include junction crossing, lane-change oncoming, lane-change side, evasive steering assist, navigation-based cruise for curves and zones, and highway driving assist.
- Both trims add premium convenience and connectivity such as a head-up display, built-in front and rear dashcams, navigation on the 12.3-inch driver display, one-touch auto up/down windows, rain-sensing wipers, and Kia Connect enhancements.
- Kia is offering the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) only with automatic engines — a 160 hp 1.5L turbo-petrol with a 7-speed DCT and a 116 hp 1.5L diesel with a 6-speed torque-converter — with prices starting at Rs 21.57 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
- Kia cites the Seltos’ recent 5-star Bharat NCAP score and its strong monthly sales as reasons for the upgrade, and the X-Line(O) differentiates itself through a Matte Graphite exterior, blacked-out trim and a black-and-green interior theme.
