Kia EVs to Tesla Superchargers Starting January 15, 2025

Kia will provide free NACS adapters to new EV6 and EV9 owners, while existing owners will need to purchase them.

Kia will roll out NACS adapters to its EV6 and EV9 owners on January 15, 2025, allowing access to Tesla's network of over 16,500 Superchargers in the U.S.
Customers who purchase a new 2024 or 2025 Kia EV9 or 2024 EV6 from September 4, 2024, onward will receive a complimentary NACS adapter.
Existing Kia EV owners will need to buy the adapter, with pricing yet to be announced, though GM's similar adapter costs $225.
Kia plans to offer three types of adapters: NACS to CCS1, CCS1 to NACS, and J1772 to NACS, facilitating various charging options.
A software update in early 2025 will enable Kia EV owners to locate and pay for charging via the in-car infotainment system.
