- Kia, which disclosed the plan Thursday at its CEO Investor Day, will launch a body-on-frame midsize pickup for the U.S. by 2030 with hybrid and range-extender electric powertrains.
- The company is targeting about 90,000 truck sales a year in North America and roughly 7% of the midsize pickup segment by 2034.
- At least one hybrid version is expected to be built in the United States.
