Kia Adds Two HTX E Trims to Carens Clavis EV, Priced From Rs 19.99 Lakh

The mid-tier additions target festive-season shoppers by bridging the HTK+–HTX gap with larger batteries, faster charging, extra comfort features.

Overview

  • Kia India introduced HTX E and HTX E [ER] at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom), expanding the seven-seater EV lineup.
  • HTX E uses a 42 kWh battery with a claimed 404 km range, while HTX E [ER] gets a 51.4 kWh pack claiming 490 km.
  • Both support DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 39 minutes, with motor options up to 126 kW and 255 Nm.
  • New equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting for all three rows, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, air purifier, wireless charging and dual 10.25-inch displays with Level 2 ADAS.
  • Safety features list six airbags, ESC and Hill-Start Assist, the lineup now spans six trims, and ownership is backed by K-Charge access to 11,000+ public chargers and 250+ EV-ready workshops via the MyKia app.
