Key Accomplice in Mohamed Amra Prison Escape Extradited to France

Adonis C., suspected of aiding the violent 2024 escape, has been handed over by Thai authorities and will face judicial proceedings in Paris.

French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin confirmed the extradition and thanked Thai authorities for their cooperation.
Adonis C. is accused of involvement in both the planning of Mohamed Amra's escape and an earlier, aborted escape attempt.
He was subject to an Interpol red notice as part of a broader investigation that has already led to around thirty indictments.
Upon arrival in France, Adonis C. is being directly presented to a judge for potential charges, bypassing police custody.
