Kevin Yu Leads Farmers Insurance Open with 8-Under 64

Cantlay, Hisatsune One Shot Behind, Defending Champion Homa Tied for 48th

Kevin Yu of Taiwan leads the Farmers Insurance Open after a bogey-free, 8-under 64 in the first round.
Patrick Cantlay and Ryo Hisatsune are one shot behind Yu, both having shot 65s.
Five golfers, including Hideki Matsuyama and Shane Lowry, are two strokes back in a tie for fourth.
Defending champion Max Homa is tied for 48th after carding a 2-under 70.
The best score on the South Course was a 5-under 67 by Nicolai Hojgaard of Denmark.
