Kevin Sinfield, England’s defence coach, will depart Steve Borthwick’s coaching staff after this summer’s tour to New Zealand.
Sinfield will move to skills and kicking before his departure later this year.
Felix Jones, the former Ireland international and South Africa coach, will replace Sinfield as defence coach.
Andrew Strawbridge, the skills guru who helped the All Blacks to the silver medal at the 2023 Rugby World Cup, will join as a consultant for the first four weeks of this year’s championship, overseeing all areas.
