Overview
- Sinfield will run seven ultramarathons across seven days, each exceeding 50km and split into hourly 7km blocks.
- The route begins Dec. 1 from Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich, continues through Cork, Swansea, Sheffield, Workington–Whitehaven and Dundee, and finishes Dec. 7 at AMT Headingley Stadium alongside the Leeds Santa Dash.
- Under the ‘7 in 7: Together’ theme, people affected by MND are invited to join for a mile each day.
- The fundraising goal of £777,777 adds to more than £10m he has raised since launching his efforts in 2020 after Rob Burrow’s diagnosis.
- Sinfield says he hopes Lewis Moody can join part of the route, with Marcus Stewart expected at the opening leg, following last week’s royal opening of the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.
