With 36 games left in the season, Durant could potentially surpass both Carmelo Anthony and Shaquille O’Neal on the all-time scoring list.
If Durant continues to score at his current pace of 28.5 points per game next season, he could surpass Wilt Chamberlain and Dirk Nowitzki in the all-time scoring list by the end of the 2024-25 season.
Durant could potentially score 30,000 career points by January end in 2025 or early February, assuming he avoids long-term injury.
