Kevin Costner's 'Horizon' to Stream on Max After Theatrical Run

The first chapter of the ambitious Western series will be available for streaming on August 23 following a lackluster box office performance.

'Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1' grossed $31.4 million worldwide against a $100 million budget.
The film premiered at Cannes and had a theatrical release on June 28.
Kevin Costner invested $38 million of his own money into the project.
The sequel, originally set for August 16, will now premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 7.
Costner is already working on the third installment of the planned four-part series.
