Overview
- Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam vote on December 9, with Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod on December 11.
- Nominations close on November 21 with scrutiny on November 22 and withdrawals on November 24, and the Model Code of Conduct is now in force statewide.
- Elections will cover 1,199 local bodies and 23,576 wards, excluding Mattannur municipality, with 2.84 crore voters and a supplementary roll due on November 14.
