Overview

• Shalini, 39, was attacked with a knife near a pipeline behind her kitchen in Koothanadi near Punalur around 6 to 6:30 a.m., according to the FIR.
• The accused husband, identified as Isaac, went live on Facebook for about two and a half minutes and admitted to the killing.
• He later surrendered at the Punalur police station, with reports placing the surrender around 9 a.m.
• Police registered a murder case under section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on a complaint from the couple’s 19-year-old son.
