• Kerala has confirmed two Nipah cases: an 18-year-old girl in Malappuram died and a patient in Palakkad remains critical under monoclonal antibody therapy.
• Health authorities have traced 461 contacts across Malappuram, Palakkad and Kozhikode, up from 425 contacts reported on July 7.
• Sixty-five surveillance teams have conducted door-to-door visits in 20 high-risk wards, covering more than 1,655 households in Malappuram.
