Kentucky WR Dane Key Transfers to Nebraska for Final College Season

The three-year starter and top transfer portal prospect reunites with former coach as Nebraska bolsters its offense for 2025.

Dane Key, Kentucky's leading receiver in 2024, announced his transfer to Nebraska via social media on Tuesday.
Key recorded 47 receptions for 715 yards and two touchdowns this season, finishing his Kentucky career with 1,870 yards and 14 touchdowns in three years.
The 6-foot-3 wide receiver is ranked as a top player in the transfer portal and has one year of college eligibility remaining.
Key will reunite with Daikiel Shorts Jr., his former receivers coach at Kentucky, who recently joined Nebraska's staff.
Nebraska, seeking to strengthen its offense around freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, also added other key transfers, including wide receiver Nyziah Hunter and defensive end Williams Nwaneri.
