Overview
- Kentucky hosts Manhattan at Rupp Arena with a 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the game is available only on SEC Network+ through WatchESPN or the ESPN app.
- Mark Pope begins his third season with a roster rebuilt largely through the transfer portal and the return of sophomore Malachi Moreno after he withdrew from the 2026 NBA Draft.
- Betting markets make Kentucky a very large favorite for the opener, listing the Wildcats around -33.5 with an over/under near 158.5 points.
- Manhattan arrives off a 12-20 season and faces pressure on coach John Gallagher, with tonight marking the programs' first-ever meeting.
- The digital-only broadcast of this nonconference opener underscores a wider shift of early-season games to streaming and forces fans to juggle screens or streaming access when major events overlap.
