• Redshirt freshman Cutter Boley, starting for injured Zach Calzada, went 12-of-21 for 240 yards with two touchdown passes and no turnovers.
• Seth McGowan rushed 18 times for 104 yards and three touchdowns as Kentucky finished with 252 rushing yards and 240 through the air.
• Eastern Michigan totaled 461 yards, with Noah Kim throwing for 330, and cut into the margin with 10 points in the final two minutes of the first half.
• Running back Dante Dowdell left with a thigh injury and did not return, while Calzada’s shoulder kept him out.
• Kentucky moved to 2-1 and EMU fell to 0-3, with the Wildcats idle next week before a Sept. 27 trip to South Carolina.
