Kensington Palace Confirms Fifth 'Together at Christmas' at Westminster Abbey on Dec. 5

This year's edition pays tribute to the late Duchess of Kent through Future Talent performers, with ITV broadcasts on Christmas Eve plus a Christmas Day repeat.

Overview

  • Princess of Wales will host the service with the theme "love in all its forms," highlighting connection across families, friendships, communities and strangers.
  • Readings and performances are confirmed from Kate Winslet, Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith of Bastille and Chiwetel Ejiofor, alongside the Westminster Abbey choir.
  • About 1,600 guests will attend, with many nominated by Lord-Lieutenants and charities associated with the royal household.
  • Horticulturist Jamie Butterworth will stage a natural festive welcome outside the Abbey, while Royal Horticultural Society wreaths made with ambassadors and schoolchildren will decorate the interior.
  • Fifteen community carol services will take place across the UK under the same theme, hosted by Lord-Lieutenants and supported by The Royal Foundation.
