Kenny Chesney Announces 'Sun Goes Down' Stadium Tour with Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney, Uncle Kracker for 2024

The 18-show tour, inspired by Chesney's 2004 hit 'When the Sun Goes Down', will kick off on April 20 in Tampa and wrap up on August 23 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, marking a tradition for the country singer; tickets are set to be on sale from November 17.

  • Country music icon, Kenny Chesney, will be heading on an ambitious 18-show tour in 2024, aptly titled 'Sun Goes Down', joined by celebrated acts Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney, and Uncle Kracker.
  • Kicking off April 20 in Tampa, Florida, the tour will make stops at various stadiums across the U.S., including Minnesota, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and more, finally ending August 23 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachussetts - a tradition for Chesney.
  • The tour is named after Chesney's hit single from 2004, 'When the Sun Goes Down', signifying the time 'when all the good stuff starts to happen', appreciated by his 'No Shoes Nation' fanbase who, in the words of Chesney, start the good times early and keep it going.
  • Pre-sale tickets will be available from November 17 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster with additional options like VIP packages and platinum presale tickets opening up in the days leading up to the sale.
  • Beyond his touring plans, Chesney has been relatively quiet in terms of releasing new music; his last album 'Here and Now' was released in 2020, though he did score a hit with Kelsea Ballerini on her 2021 song, 'Half of My Hometown'.
