Overview
- Judge Vanessa Baraitser handed Nicholas Orlando Green an 11-year prison term with a further five years on extended licence.
- Green attacked Phillip Thomas, 44, and Chintz Patel, 42, on March 27, 2024, leaving one man with 13 stab wounds and both with lasting psychological harm.
- He also assaulted a 31-year-old woman as he fled the station, and passengers intervened to pull him away during the stabbings.
- British Transport Police identified him via the bank card he used to tap into the station, arrested him the next day, and recovered his card, trainers and a freshly washed jacket.
- Psychiatric reports found a severe personality disorder without psychosis, and detectives said Green laughed and tried to frustrate interviews.
