Kendrick Lamar, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone Movie Delayed to March 2026

Paramount reschedules the untitled comedy to accommodate creators' commitments, with updates expected at CinemaCon 2025.

The untitled live-action comedy, produced by Kendrick Lamar, Dave Free, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone, will now release on March 20, 2026, instead of July 4, 2025.
The delay accounts for Kendrick Lamar's global tour starting in April 2025 and Parker and Stone's ongoing work on South Park.
The movie, scripted by Vernon Chatman, completed filming in 2024 and has been praised by Paramount for its originality and humor.
Brian Robbins, Paramount's film chief, described the script as 'one of the funniest and most original' the studio has encountered.
Further details about the highly anticipated project are expected during Paramount's CinemaCon presentation on April 3, 2025.
